Modern portable electronics are almost exclusively powered by lithium-ion batteries. These power sources are considered to be the future of electromobility. Lithium-ion batteries have the same destructive potential as a war grenade – what makes them usable as power source and energy storage devices? And what do rocking chairs have to do with it?
